Private Label Reusable Kitchen Cloths: Sampling and Packaging Guide
A private-label kitchen cloth order needs more than a printed logo. Lock the fibre blend, construction, finished size, fabric weight, edge and packaging against an approved sample. WonderCloth accepts OEM enquiries for reusable viscose/rayon cleaning cloths; final availability, minimum quantity and lead time depend on the specification.
Build one clear product brief
State whether the cloth is for kitchen spills, tableware wiping or general household surfaces. Specify viscose/rayon and reinforcement percentages, knitted or other construction, single-layer GSM, layer count and finished dimensions. ‘Wood fibre’ alone is not a complete composition statement; confirm the fibre identity and label wording.
Approve the cloth before the printed pack
Compare sample absorbency, rinseability, lint, wet handling and wash shrinkage under your intended conditions. Keep the approved sample and written tolerances with the purchase order. A thicker two-layer cloth should not be compared with single-layer fabric GSM without accounting for both layers.
Choose packaging for the sales channel
Discuss individual packs, multi-packs, labels, sleeves and bulk cartons using your artwork and retail requirements. Verify pack count, folded dimensions, barcode artwork, care wording and carton markings on a physical or approved production proof. Do not print certification logos or environmental claims until their scope and permission are confirmed.
Separate commercial questions
Ask for separate material, finishing and packaging assumptions in the quote. Stock colours, custom yarn colours and printed packs may have different minimums. Request sample costs, shipping terms, approval milestones and production lead time in writing; do not assume a website-wide MOQ or guaranteed sample dispatch time.
Avoid misleading category names
Knitted viscose cloth is not automatically a nonwoven J-Cloth-type wipe, a cellulose sponge cloth or microfiber. Compare these constructions honestly. Plant-based fibre content does not establish that the finished blend is wholly biodegradable, and one laboratory report does not certify every SKU.

Questions buyers ask
Can a sample report be reused for a different composition?
Not as proof of that new composition. Match the report’s sample identifier and specification to the ordered product, and request further testing when needed.
What should I send for a quote?
Destination, application, blend, dimensions, GSM basis, layer count, colour, edge, quantity and pack artwork. Include the sample or benchmark you want assessed.
Is there one minimum order for all private-label packs?
No universal minimum is promised in this guide. Confirm the MOQ for the chosen fabric, colour and printed packaging in the quotation.
